Slimming World


Hi My name is Rosemary Ward and I am the new Consultant at the St Leonards and St Ives Slimming World group and would love to tell you about how fantastic it is to lose weight with Slimming World.

 Slimming World's approach to losing weight is to use the benefits of foods that are low in calories and fat to fill up on, so that portion sizes don't have to be reduced and you need never be hungry. This food - we call it "free food" doesn't have to be weighed, measured or counted in any way and so is unlimited.

 Also, because you can still have a measured amount of beer, wine, crisps, chocolate or whatever takes your fancy each day, you don't feel deprived. Many new members are surprised by the amount of food they can eat and still lose weight - we aim to dispel the myth that losing weight means hunger and deprivation.

 I would love to meet you and welcome you to our lovely group. The group takes place every Monday at 9:30 am, 5:30 pm and again at 7:30 pm.
